About The Course

Theories of production, determination of prices, and distribution of income in regulated and unregulated industries. Attention is also given to industrial relations, monopolies, and comparative economic systems.

Course Goals

After completing this course student will be able to:

  • Understand how households, firms, and governments make economic decisions and the implications of those decisions for the business environment, resource allocation, pricing, the distribution of income and other variables.
  • Deeper understanding of the environmental policy, educational policy, trade issues, the effect of taxes, etc.
