About The Course

Trigonometry is the study of the six trigonometric functions originally conceived by the ancient Greeks but have many significant modern applications. This course forms a large chunk of the MAC 1147 “Precalculus” core and when combined with MAC 1140 will prepare you for the Calculus Sequence beginning with MAC 2311.

Course Goals

    1. Solving inequalities, linear, and quadratic equations; complex numbers; polynomials; graphs; rational functions; logarithmic and exponential functions.
