Dual Enrollment
Our mission is to expand access to a preeminent learning opportunity for Florida's highest achieving high school students.
The program has been serving students throughout the state online since 2013. We now serve students in the following counties: Alachua, Bradford, Broward, Clay, Duval (Pilot), Flagler, FLVS (Full-time), Gilchrist, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Levy, Miami-Dade (Pilot), Monroe, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco County, Pinellas, Sarasota, Union, Volusia.
Our dedicated staff, led by Litza Echeverria Rubio, aims to provide a personalized experience to students participating in this program. We work with students, parents, and school counselors to ensure success in our program, from course selection advising to helping students stay on track in their online courses.
If you are an interested student in one of the districts we serve, speak with your school counselor to find out if this is a good option for you. If you are in a district we do not serve, keep an eye out because we are partnering with new districts every year!
Allison serves as the senior coordinator for the University of Florida Dual Enrollment Program. She has been working for UF since 2015. Allison earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Florida International University. Her career has spanned over 16 years working in local colleges and universities within the state of Florida.
Program CoordinatorLitza serves as director of the Operational Services Unit within the Office of Teaching and Technology. In her role, she leads the Dual Enrollment Program, the Flexible Learning Program, and the Marketing and Enrollment Services team. She has been with UF since 2015. Litza is a triple Gator! She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and her M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Special Education from UF. She also holds a UF graduate certificate in Postsecondary Learning Support.
Asst. DirectorNico Rose serves as the Assistant Provost and Senior Director of Operations for the Office of Teaching and Technology within the Office of the Provost at the University of Florida. In his role as Assistant Provost, Nico provides leadership to the Center for Online Innovation and Production, Center for Teaching Excellence, UF High School Dual Enrollment & Flexible Learning, Self-Supporting Academic Programs, Office of Professional and Workforce Development, and Operational Services.
